ISSUE: Award RFP 17-028 Pretty Branch Sanitary Sewer Outfall Rehabilitation to the lowest bidder Site Engineering Inc. for $325,909.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for the replacement of approximately 922 LF of sanitary sewer main between Pretty Branch Drive and Lee Street. Two bidders submitted bids as follows:
Site Engineering Inc. $325,909.00
KM Davis Contracting Co. Inc. $478,302.00
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works, Purchasing and Croy Engineering have reviewed the bids and recommend award of RFP 17-028 to the lowest bidder Site Engineering Inc. for $325,909.00 and to authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
