ISSUE: Extending the emergency 911 surcharge, it will remain the same amount at $1.50
BACKGROUND: During May of 2001, the City council approved a resolution authorizing the City to collect a $1.50 monthly fee from telephone subscribers within the City to offset the costs of providing 911 telephone service to residents. This resolution must be extended annually to continue the surcharge.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Approval of Resolution 2017-11for extending the emergency 911 surcharge.
