Approval to change the Mayor and Council Meeting date from Monday July 3, 2017 to Wednesday July 5, 2017 due to the July 4th Holiday on Tuesday

ISSUE: The Mayor and Council discussed postponing the Mayor and Council Meeting on Monday, July 3rd, at the Committee of the Whole meeting June 1, 2017. This would allow the availability for a long weekend for elected officials and employees. It was decided to move this meeting to Wednesday July 5, 2017 beginning at 7:00 PM. This would also move the Pre Council Meeting to Monday July 5, 2017 at 6:00 PM. All City facilities will be open Monday July 3, 2017 normal hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If employees would like to take July 3rd off they would have to request approval to use their leave, this would not be an additional holiday.
