ISSUE: Authorize Public Works to purchase three replacement F-450 small dump trucks scheduled for replacement in the 2016 and 2017 Vehicle CIP using State Contract through Wade Ford in the total amount of $181,143.00

 

BACKGROUND:  The Public Works Department Street Division has scheduled in the  2016 and 2017 vehicle CIP the replacement of three dump trucks to replace three 2001 dump trucks. We are requesting to use State Contract pricing through Wade Ford who will be using a local vendor to install the dump bodies.

 

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:  Public Works staff have reviewed the State Contract pricing documents from Wade Ford and recommend the authorization to use State Contract pricing to purchase three replacement F-450 dump trucks using 2016 and 2017 vehicle CIP funds for $181,143.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
