ISSUE: Due to recent legislative requirements, Smyrna Fire Department's current data management system will no longer be compliant effective Jan.1st, 2018. The licensing agreement is no: 263494 with Image Trend, Inc.
BACKGROUND:
Through this recent legislative change, Smyrna Fire will be required to maintain data reporting compliance. A significant upgrade to SFD's data management system is necessary. After substantial contemplation of software providers, SFD reccomends a data management provider change to ImageTrend. Georgia State Fire Marshalls office has recently migrated from "FireHouse" software, to "Image Trend". This was approved within the FY18 CIP budget
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Request approval of software licensing agreement.
