Authorize Atkins Park (Tavern) Restaurant & Bar to operate a beer trailer or station at the Taste of Smyrna event September 16, 2017, operating during the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. - at the assigned location, on sidewalk, on King Street (closed street, within the event space), at the intersection of King St. and West Spring St. This is a City of Smyrna approved event.

ISSUE: Atkins Park (Tavern) Restaurant & Bar requests permit approval to set up and operate a beer trailer or station at the Taste of Smyrna event September 16, 2017, with the trailer located at the edge of the Smyrna Market Village immediately facing City Hall, off the street, at the entrance to the public pavilion in the parking lot across from City Hall. Exact time of placement and removal to be determined (but falling within overall event setup and cleanup - reasonably assumed to be at least two hours prior to event start on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. and at least two hours following event conclusion on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 8:00 p.m.).

RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff recommends approval of and the placement of the beer trailer to be operated by Atkins Park Tavern during the Taste of Smyrna event (managed by JRM Management). Staff also recommends that Atkins Park (Tavern) Restaurant & Bar confirm with the city the exact set-up and removal time of the beer trailer or station (within the event set-up and clean-up period as referenced).
