ISSUE:
Chapter 98, Article I, General, Section 98-2, Parking (a) of the City Code of Ordinances authorizes the City to establish No Parking Zones.
BACKGROUND:
he parking of vehicles along Corn Road has begun inhibiting the commercial activity of a business operating at Corn Road. Delivery trucks have not been able to enter the property and the business’ mailbox has been repeatedly blocked. After attempts to communicate with nearby residents, the parking situation did not improve. The business owner made a request to the city to help resolve the situation.
