ISSUE: New application for privilege licenses for 2170 Shop & Go LLC dba 2170 Shop & Go for the sale of beer and wine (Retail Package}. 2170 Shop & Go LLC is the owner and Meera Lalchani is the agent applicant.
BACKGROUND: Meera Lalchani will be the registered agent, responsible for the sale of alcohol at the referenced location. Meera Lalchani has been given a copy of the Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance and attended the mandatory alcohol awareness workshop. (Certificate attached)
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: A background investigation conducted by the Smyrna Police Department failed to reveal information that would preclude issuance of this license. Meera Lalchani has agreed to abide by the guidelines set forth by the City of Smyrna ordinance governing the sale of alcohol. Approval of privilege licenses for the sale of beer and wine (retail package) for 2170 Shop & Go LLC dba 2170 Shop & Go with Meera Lalchani as the registered agent.
