Approval of Ordinance 2018-06 amending the City of Smyrna Code of Ordinances, Chapter 70, Parks and Recreation, Article I, In General, Sections 70-1 and 70-2 pertaining to use of park areas and recreation facilities

ISSUE: Adopt proposed ordinances pertain to the use of park areas and and recreation facilities and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
BACKGROUND: A review of existing city ordinances pertaining to the public use of park areas and recreation facilities was completed and the attached proposed ordinances are being recommended by the Parks and Recreation Director along with the Special Projects Coordinator, Assistant City Administrator, and City Attorney.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: It is the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Director, Special Projects Coordinator, Assistant City Administrator and City Attorney that the city adopt the proposed ordinances pertaining to the public use of park areas and recreation facilities and authorize the mayor to execute any related documents.
