ISSUE:  The applicant is seeking approval to annex an 18.7 acre tract of property located at 1677 and 1691 Buckner Road SE, Mableton, Georgia on land lots 609, 610, 614, and 615, parcels 17060900010, 17061400010, 17061000010 and 17061500010.  The current zoning of the property in Cobb County is Heavy Industrial.  The property will be zoned LI (Light Industrial) if annexed into the City, which is the closes match to Heavy Industrial that the City provides.  The property will be included at part of the Whitefield Academy campus.
