Title
Authorize Smyrna Little League to accept donations for parking in city lots, approval of a road closure for the State Little League Tournament organized by the Smyrna Little League, and authorize extended hours for park lights. The road closure includes Hunter Rd. between Concord Rd. and Dunn St. SE in Brinkley Park for the duration of the tournament from 8 AM to 4 PM on Saturday July 14 and Sunday July 15, 4 PM to 11 PM on Monday July 16 through Friday July 20, Saturday July 21 from 7 AM to 12 PM, and Sunday July 22 from 8 AM to 1 PM. The park light schedule will be extended to 1 AM for Monday July 16 through Friday July 20.

ISSUE: The Smyrna Little League is holding the State Little League Tournament at Smyrna's Brinkley Park from the dates of Saturday July 14th through Sunday the 22nd. The road closure includes Hunter Rd between Concord Rd and Dunn St SE for the duration of the times specified below.
A map of the road closure is included in the attachments. The distance of the road closure is .12 miles.
The table below reflects the requested closure time frames to allow for the early arrival of families to the park. They have been revised from the attached application which included tentative timeframes.

Sunday road closures will only occur if the tournament extends into the final day.
The lights of the park will be kept on past their normal schedule to accomodate the tournament and the safety of the attendees and participants. They will be kept on until 1 AM on Monday July 16 through Friday July 20 for the late games.
