Approval of the services agreement in the amount of $12,000.00 and the addendum adjusting the audit period in the agreement between the City of Smyrna, Georgia and the Georgia Municipal Association for E911 user fee audit services and allow the Mayor to sign all related documents.

ISSUE:
This is an addendum to the Agreement dated April 2, 2018 between the City of Smyrna (“City”) and the Georgia Municipal Association (“GMA”) for E911 User Fee Audit Services relative to telephone providers.
The addendum adjusts the audit period to include January 1, 2018 through March 31, 2018 and will not affect any of the other terms of the agreement already in place.
BACKGROUND:
The following additional terms and conditions pertaining to E911 Audit Services are hereby included as a part of the Agreement described above.
AUDIT PERIOD:
The audit period is adjusted to include January 1, 2018 through March 31, 2018. Therefore, Section 2 “Scope of Services”, subsection A, of the above referenced Agreement shall read “A review and detailed analysis for the Review Period April 1, 2015 through March 31, 2018”, as applicable for any section of the audit so engaged.
The Agreement between the City and GMA for E911 User Fee Audit Services shall remain in full force and effect.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff recommends approval.
