BACKGROUND: Public Works requested bids for the rehabilitation of storm drain piping and appurtenant structures at Lake Court Park and 6 vendors submitted bids as follows:
Tucker Grading & Hauling $206,031.65 Ardito Construction Company $320,078.68
Tople Construction & Engineering $245,625.25 Site Engineering Inc. $366,485.00
K.M. Davis Contracting Company $289,778.50 L-J, Inc. $415,346.00
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works and Purchasing have reviewed the bids and recommend award to the lowest bidder Tucker Grading & Hauling for $206,031.65 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
