Approval of Ordinance 2019-02 - Annexation request (100% owners requesting annexation) - of all tract of land lying and being in Land Lot 349, 17th District, 2nd Section, Cobb County, Georgia, a total of 1.09 acre tract,  being known as Greenridge Street, Smyrna GA.  The effective date will be April 1, 2019 and reside in Ward 5.

ISSUE:  The applicant Sovereign Pacific, LLC (Andrew Shipp) is seeking approval to annex into the City of Smyrna, approximately 1.09 acre tract, parcel 17034900110 - lying and being in Land Lot 349, 17th District, 2nd Section, Cobb County zoning is GC & R-20.  Kimberly Norwood Properties, LLC is requesting to rezone the property to R-15 and construct (2) two or (3) single-famliy homes.  The property is vacant on Greenridge Street and Pat Mell Rd, SE.  Planning and Zoning Commission heard this rezoning on February 11, 2019 and the commission recommended for approval by a vote of  7-0.
