ISSUE: Application for change of agent for Meghna Business LLC dba Chevron Food Mart for privilege licenses for beer & wine (retail package) with Mohammed F. Hassan as new agent. Previous agent was Mohammed Ashraf.
BACKGROUND: Mohammed F. Hassan will be the registered agent, responsible for the sale of alcohol at the referenced location. Mohammed F. Hassan has been given a copy of the Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance and attended the mandatory alcohol awareness workshop. (Certificate attached)
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: A background investigation conducted by the Smyrna Police Department failed to reveal information that would preclude issuance of these licenses. Mohammed F. Hassan has agreed to abide by the guidelines set forth by the City of Smyrna ordinance governing the sale of alcohol. Approval of a privilege license for the sale of beer & wine (retail package) for Meghna Business LLC dba Chevron Food Mart at 1166 Concord Road with Mohammed F. Hassan as the registered agent.
