ISSUE: Application for privilege licenses for Bad Daddy’s International LLC. dba Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar for the sale of beer, wine, and liquor (retail pouring). Bad Daddy’s International LLC is the owner and Phillip Ray Barnes the agent applicant. Formerly Clarance Lanard Taylor was the agent.
BACKGROUND: Phillip Ray Barnes will be the registered agent responsible for the sale of alcohol at the referenced location. Phillip Ray Barnes has been given a copy of the Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance and attended the mandatory alcohol awareness workshop. (Certificate attached)
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: A background investigation conducted by the Smyrna Police Department failed to reveal information that would preclude issuance of these licenses. Phillip Ray Barnes has agreed to abide by the guidelines set forth by the City of Smyrna ordinance governing the sale of alcohol.
