ISSUE: Application for privilege licenses for Asit Business, Inc. dba One Stop #616 for the sale of beer and wine (retail package). Abdul Aleem is the owner and the agent applicant. Formerly Management People, Inc dba One Stop #616 with Majeed Tayyab as agent.
BACKGROUND: Abdul Aleem will be the registered agent responsible for the sale of alcohol at the referenced location Abdul Aleem has been given a copy of the Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance and attended the mandatory alcohol awareness workshop. (Certificate attached)
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: A background investigation conducted by the Smyrna Police Department failed to reveal information that would preclude issuance of these licenses. Abdul Aleem has agreed to abide by the guidelines set forth by the City of Smyrna ordinance governing the sale of alcohol. Approval of privilege licenses for the sale of beer and wine (retail package) for Asit Business,Inc dba One Stop #616 with Abdul Aleem as the owner and the registered agent.
