ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
An amount of $50,000.00 is needed to be moved from hotel/motel fund balance to be applied to the hotel/motel supported Community Relations budget for the purpose of meeting community event budget adjustment for event talent upgrades to align the City of Smyrna with economic impact and tourism objectives.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff recommends approval of the mid-year budget amendment to allocate funds from Hotel/Motel fund balance to professional services in the hotel/motel (tourism) tax supported Community Relations budget for Community Events for the FY 2020 budget.
