Approve the closing of the following streets for the Smyrna Parks and Recreation’s Easter Carnival: King Street from Bank Street to Village Green Circle, entire Village Green Circle from Atlanta Rd. from 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2020. This event has been canceled.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
Requested street closings are to ensure a safe environment for this Smyrna Parks and Recreation youth-focused event. Games will be set up in the fountain area in front of the community center; a hayride around the Village Green traffic circle; inflatables set up on King Street along with food vendors (across from Veteran’s memorial lawn).

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff recommends approval of the road closures for this event.
