ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: 

Over the past several years CDBG funds invested in the city have paid for numerous public improvements; and the City of Smyrna desires to continue being a subrecipient of the Cobb County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program; and the City desires to enter into a Cooperation Agreement for Cobb County Georgia and The City of Smyrna, Program Years 2021 through 2023.

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:  Approval of Resolution 2020-02 to continue being a subrecipient of the Cobb County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, and to enter into a Cooperation Agreement for Cobb County Georgia and the City of Smyrna, Program Years 2021 through 2023.
