Approval of an extension of normal work hours for RDJE, Inc. during the water / sewer modifications on Windy Hill Boulevard Project from 7:00pm to 6:00am for (5) Five dates. The contractor is requesting dates from October 26th 2020 thru October 30th 2020.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: RDJE Inc. is requesting an extension of normal work hours during the construction of the Water / Sewer modifications on the Windy Hill Boulevard Project, RDJE, Inc. is requesting extended working hours: from 7:00pm to 6:00am for (5) Five dates due to the Sewer connections that need to cross Windy Hill Boulevard . The contractor is requesting dates from October 26th 2020 thru October 30th 2020 RDJE will try to maintain the proposed dates schedule changes are subject to weather delays, production and or extraordinary events .
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works recommends approval of the extended work hours from 7:00pm to 6:00am for the dates from October 26th 2020 thru October 30th 2020 with the following conditions.
1. All lights used for the extended hours shall be directed in a manner not to affect surrounding residential properties, all light shall be kept on-site and shall not escape the perimeter of the site
2. RDJE, Inc. shall post the site one week prior with signage notifying the public of the scheduled extended work hours and dates.
3. The Extended work hours shall only be allowed Monday to Friday. Extended work hours shall be prohibited on Saturday and Sunday.
