ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: 

Requested street closings are to ensure a safe environment for this year’s Smyrna Parks and Recreation fall event.  Activities will be set up around the pond as well as the fountain area in front of the community center.  There will also be a hayride around the Village Green traffic circle. Food vendors will be set up on Village Green circle between the library and the community center.

This is an annual event put on by the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department.

 

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: 

Staff recommends approval of the road closures for this event.
