Cobb Drive, Smyrna, Ga. 30080 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.

ISSUE/BACKGROUND: A total of 5 (five) Uniform Patrol Vehicles have been or will be taken out of service in FY21. The replacement vehicles were included in the FY21 Vehicle Replacement Fund.
The Police Department was authorized the $246,273.05 cost in the FY20 Vehicle Replacement Fund for the replacement of 5 (five) Uniform Patrol vehicles. The vehicles that will be taken out of service are a result of damage sustained in accidents or mileage, or upon guidance from the Fleet Manager. The vehicles and equipment will be purchased using State/County contracts, through cooperative contract pricing, and the graphics from a single source provider who solely owns the graphics artwork. All vehicles will be purchased from Wade Ford, 3860 S Cobb Dr Smyrna Ga 30080 and all necessary equipment from Insight Public Sector, Grafix, and Diversified Electronics.
RECOMMENDATION/REQUESTED ACTION: The Chief of Police, Staff, and Purchasing Department recommend the approval to purchase 5 (five) equipped Ford Explorers for the Police Department as part of the FY21 Vehicle Replacement Fund at a total cost of $246,273.05 through the state contract from Wade Ford located at 3860 S. Cobb Drive, Smyrna, Ga. 30080 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
