ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:   Public works request to use the TIPS cooperative contract #17110502 for CIPP (cured in place piping) for Floyd Drive 60'' Storm  Project in the amount of $ 371,000. We are selecting Vortex due to scheduling and performance issue with current provider, IPR Southeast.

Vortex services have provided pricing to complete this project with total cost of $371,000.00 these services have already been competitively bid through TIPS

Cooperative contract.

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff's recommendation is that due to condition of 60'' CMP pipe Public works and Purchasing request authorization to use TIPS Cooperative (Contract #17110502) for CIPP (cured in place piping) for Floyd Drive 60'' Storm Water project in the amount of $ 371,000.00, funded through the Storm Water CIP, and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute any related documents.
