ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: 

The Cobb County CDBG office has granted the City of Smyrna an expenditure extension for the PY2018, PY2019, and PY2020 fund allocations (Term of program years - January 1st through March 31st).  Amendment copies are attached to obtain the necessary signatures; the amendments must be returned by December 29, 2020.

 

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:  Staff recommends authorization Community Development Block Grant Expenditure Extensions (PY2018, 2019, & 2020) and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
