ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: 

The national public health emergency necessitated cancellation of traditional Spring events and also necessitated delay of the annual event date approvals and associated street closings. The 2021 annual City community events list (events/series) begin in May and conclude end in December, 2021.  Corresponding street closings are also included for Council approval.

 

RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of 2021 City of Smyrna Community Events and corresponding Street Closings from May 2021 through December 2021.
