Just wanted to give you the Tree Boards comments about the information you presented to us last Wednesday.  Thanks so much for coming and sharing that information with us and sorry things were so rushed.  We do not normally have such a stacked agenda.

Tree Board Comments 3/26/2014

-- concern about appropriate spacing on the Crape Myrtles in the Atlanta Rd median

-- suggested using Compacta Holly (or similar small Holly) instead of Indian Hawthorn

-- agreed with the City Arborist’s concerns about mono cultures being created with over use of certain species

-- requested that the design of the Concord Rd median more closely match the template of the Atlanta Rd plantings

-- wanted to make sure that the City’s landscape maintenance contract includes proper care for the trees, with the oversight of a Certified Arborist
